Dr. Tammy Afifi wins 2011 NCA Bernard J. Brommel Award

Dr. Tammy Afifi has won the 2011 Bernard J. Brommel Award from the National Communication Association.  This award recognizes the scholarship and academic leadership of a faculty member who has advanced family communication at the local, regional, and national level over a period of years.  Professor Afifi will receive her award at the National Communication Association conference in New Orleans, Nov. 17-20, 2011.
