In recognition of his extraordinary contributions to international education, the Council for International Education and Exchange (CIEE) has established a $25,000 scholarship in the name of Dr. Michael Stohl.
The medical school of RWTH Excellence University Aachen, one of Germany's Ivy League Universities, has awarded the academic degree "Doctor of Medicine" (Dr.rer.medic.; M.D.) to Dr. René Weber.
