Faculty member Dr. Kim (https://www.comm.ucsb.edu/people/young-ji-kim) and co-authors were acknowledged with the 2020 Dennis Gouran Research Award from the Group Communication Division of the National Communication Association this November 2020. This award is “given to the author(s) of an outstanding article or chapter that focuses explicitly on group communication."
