My research focuses media effects, social identity, emotion, and well-being, specifically, in the context of ethnic minorities, e.g., Latinos. My research has been published in peer-reviewed journals like the Journal of Applied Communication Research, Health Communication, and Media Psychology. I have taught courses on persuasion, media effects, quantitative research methods, and risk and health communication.
