Paula is an MA/PhD student in the Department of Communication at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a researcher in the Media Neuroscience Lab. She is interested in applying a neuroscientific lens to questions concerning cognitive control mechanisms and mass media effects. She is also an advocate for emerging computational techniques in the social sciences. Paula received her BA in Media and Communication Studies from the University of Melbourne.
