Interpersonal and intergroup communication, research emphasis in context of law enforcement interactions
Mohemmad Hansia is an MA/PhD student in the Department of Communication at UCSB. He earned his BA in Communication Studies from San Francisco State University in 2011 and earned his MA in Public Administration from the University of New Mexico in 2014. After getting his MA, Mohemmad worked for the Albuquerque Police Department as an Analyst for two years. His interests include interpersonal and intergroup communication, especially in the context of interactions with law enforcement.
