Justice Quick (M.A., University of Hawaii) is a Ph.D. student in the Communication Department at UCSB. Broadly, he aspires to better understand how new media technologies influence our cognitive and communicative processes. His recent research focuses on the effects of avatar appearance on users’ self-perception and behavior in virtual environments.
