EAP/Non-EAP Syllabus Submission

EAP/Non-EAP Syllabus Submission (Pre-Approval Requests)

This following survey will help us review courses taken through the Education Abroad Program (UC-EAP) or other Education Abroad programs for UCSB Communication upper-division credit.  You can find the survey here:  EAP/Non-EAP Syllabus Submission.

You will need to complete this survey for each syllabus (that is not already listed on the pre-approved list: UCSB Communication EAP Pre-Approved Course List) that you request approval for upper-division Communication credit. Please note that courses must transfer back to the University as upper-division. You will be required to attach/upload a complete syllabus (in Word or PDF format) to the submission form for each course. If your syllabus is in a language other than English, it must be translated prior to submission.
As a reminder, syllabi must include the following components in order to be reviewed - 1) Complete course title and description, 2) List of topics covered during lectures, 3) Assignment descriptions, and 4) Complete reading list. Course descriptions alone are NOT sufficient enough for us to review!
Please note that at least 20 upper-division Communication units must be completed in UCSB residency.  Syllabus reviews may take up to 2-3 weeks, so please plan accordingly.
If you have any questions, please contact the Undergrad Advising office (comm-advising@ucsb.edu).
Thank you!
