Dr. Tamara Afifi, Dr. Walid Afifi, Dr. Amanda Denes (U. Connecticut; PhD, UCSB *2012), Anne Merrill, and Sharde Davis have won a top paper award in the Interpersonal Division of the upcoming International Communication Association (ICA) conference. Their paper is entitled "You Need to Stop Talking About This! Verbal Rumination and the Costs of Social Support". This year, the ICA conference is in London, United Kingdom, June 18-21, 2013.
