Professor Honored as UCSB Outstanding Graduate Mentor

Howard Giles has received the 2012 UCSB Academic Senate Outstanding Graduate Mentor Award for excellence in mentoring graduate students on the Santa Barbara campus. He is recognized for contributions to student recruitment, development of students’ research and professional skills, fostering intellectual growth, and providing supportive career advice.
